Yes, you saw it right! Hyundai, which is famous for producing cars, has now entered into tablet manufacturing segment. Cost of the 7-inch tablet is only $79, which makes it a thinkable option for new tablet buyers.
Specs include 800*480 pixels resolution, Allwinner A10 CPU able to clock at 1.5 GHz with 512 MB RAM. 8 GB of internal storage is promising too when compared with the cost and this gadget also gives you the facility of 1080p HD video playback. To specify, there will be no Bluetooth and GPS support for the tablet. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version and is now available only in China.
Pocketbook international has also announced a 7-inch tablet which will feature a medium range resolution of 1024*600 pixels, 1 GHz TI OMAP 3621 processor and 512 MB of RAM. It carries Google’s Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread giving an internal storage of only 4 GB.
It also has a 2 MP front-facing camera with a microSDHC slot and supports multi-touch input; almost all formats of music files can be played on the tablet. It weighs about 409g making it one of the lighter gadgets available now. Price and release date are not yet out but will keep you posted people!
