Samsung is planning to launch a new Galaxy Note with a 12.2 inch screen this time. If this materializes then it will definitely be the largest Galaxy Note tablet out there. In addition to this another surprise is Samsung’s decision to include a retina display on the device with a screen resolution of 2560 pixels by 1600 pixels. The retina display on the 4th generation Apple iPad has a display resolution of 2048 pixels by 1536 pixels.
Currently we do not have much info about this new rumored tablet from Samsung however we have had words about the screen being manufactured by Sharp using their IGZO technology which was showcased at the CES earlier this year. The benefits of the IGZO technology are that use of this screen increases battery life of the device by many folds and also presents a sharper picture.
