If there is a space for smartphones, well there is some too for the tablets at Barcelona! MWC 2012 witnessed Iconia Tab A700, a tablet from Acer after a long declining market trend for the company. NVidia had something to take too as the processor of the tablet was from the Graphic giant.
The model has 10.1 inch full HD LCD display with a resolution of 1920*1200 pixels. The gadget looks attractive and though the display size is small, it can provide good entertainment for a single person use.
There is a VGA output support for projectors and Dolby mobile 3+ audio with premium 5.1 HD output. There is microUSB slot and also a microSD card, for expanding internal memory. The device board the latest Ice Cream Sandwich version, Android 4.0 and the battery life is promising too with 11.5 hours on single battery charge.
We are not sure about availability and the tablet is expected to come out in variants of 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB memory. Price is expected to be between Rs.30, 000 and Rs.45, 000 for all models. Official news from Acer about this is however not yet out. This image might give you some idea about the tab!
