No doubt, Samsung Galaxy S has been one of the most successful Android based Touch smartphones worldwide. Not only it has millions of happy users but it’s sales figures of 10 Million units within 7 months of launch speaks volumes about the device. Well, now it looks like it’s successor, the Samsung Galaxy S II is going to be a big hit as well.
Samsung announced yesterday that it has already received over 3 million pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S II phone, which happens to be the biggest pre-order success ever. Samsung plans to launch the device in 120 countries to over 140 mobile operators. However, the phone’s launch date in the US has not been specified yet by Samsung.
Galaxy S II has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus Screen at 480×800 resolution, a 1 GHz dual core Exynos (Orion) Processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 MP Camera, 2MP Front facing camera and runs on Android 2.3 “Gingerbread”. If you may not know this, Samsung Galaxy S II has already been crowned as the slimmest smartphone ever. One more good thing about the phone is that it already has NFC, so easy mobile shopping! (What is NFC?)
