Apple To Officially Launch iPad In India On Jan 28!
Apple has finally decided to launch their flagship and world’s most sought after tablet device – iPad, in India on January 28. This announcement comes from Apple after 9 months of the initial launch of the iPad which happened in the US. So, it looks like finally Indian consumers can look to lay their hands on to the iPad from a proper Apple store.
Coming to the retail price of the iPad device in India, the Wi-Fi version of the iPad will retail anywhere between Rs. 26,000 to Rs. 33,000 depending on the features. The 3G+Wi-Fi version will retail in a price band of Rs.33,000 to Rs. 44,000. And as for the world market, each version of the iPad will have either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. You can buy the iPad in India only from Appleās Premium Retailers.

excellent news for ipad being available now in India. I still have a question about being able to pay for content. Does one have to have international credit card to make payment to apple through istore for books movies, music games and apps?
