Samsung To Launch Android 2.2 Based Music Player – Galaxy!

If you think Android is just limited to Super cool Smartphones, think again. Samsung is going to launch an Android 2.2 Froyo based Music player at coming year’s Consumer Electronic Show (CES). This music player is surely going to create a vibe because Android is only OS that can give an iOS (the OS that runs on all iPods, iPads & iPhones) run for money.

Looks wise, Samsung Galaxy MP3 Player looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy S phone. Now about the tech specs, the player will have a  9.9mm thick with a 4-inch Super Clear LCD screen with WVGA resolution and also a dual-facing camera (3.2-megapixel camera at rear and a VGA camera in the front) for video chatting.

Well if you are thinking how can it have video chatting without cellular connection, it has a built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. The device does not have 3G for obvious reason, as having 3G on it would make the device another phone 🙂 It also has other media-friendly features such as SoundAlive audio enhancement technology and HD video playback. It also has a microSD card slot and users will have access to Samsung Apps and the Android Market for downloading applications.
