We knew they were coming and yesterday, Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Player. The Galaxy Player is what the iPod Touch is to the iPhone – a Wi-Fi portable media device. The Galaxy Player comes in two forms – one with a 4-inch screen called Galaxy Player 4 and another with a 5-inch screen called Galaxy Player 5.
Both the devices will come with Android 2.2 and will be later upgraded to Android 2.3. If you are looking for an alternative to the iPod Touch, this just might be something worth looking at.
