Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G to debut on June 4 at $199

The world’s first 3G/4G Android set will make debut on June 4. Sprint announced in a news release that the 4.3 inch touch screen phone will be available for $ 199. Before you start jumping with joy, lets make it clear that it is not a GSM powered phone, rather it is a dual-band CDMA handset.

The phone is loaded with various features. It consists of 512 MB RAM, 1GB ROM.  It has got a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8650 microprocessor, Bluetooth 2.1. Evo comes with GoogleTM Mobile services like Google search, Gtalk,  Gmail, Youtube, Google Maps. For the chaps who love to take photographs, there’s a 8MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash and also a 1.3MP facing camera for video chat/call.

Music freaks can enjoy the music via the FM Radio and  can use the headphones of their choice with the 3.5mm jack. The 8GB micro SD card is included, which can be expanded upto 32 GB.
