It had been quite some time since Storm-3 specs have been twinkling and disappearing. Now, it’s time for the full-fledged specifications. And, yes guys this Strom sequel will just stun the top handsets!
The features include a 1.2 GHz processor with a 3.7 inch WVGA 800 x 480 pixel display which is the highest resolution on a BlackBerry smartphone. It will be boasting a 5-megapixel camera with 720p recording (Storm 2 Touch had 3.2 MP) and will operate on BlackBerry OS 6.1.
I guess just three years back a 512 MB of RAM on your desktop was decent enough. And, now the same amount of RAM is on board of this SmartPhone! Other features include an 8 GB eMMC for apps and data storage, microSD slot, a magnetometer, proximity sensor, accelerometer, 3G mobile hotspot. Bluetooth 2.1, dual-band WiFi with UMA support. And, we also have an optical trackpad on the device.
Speculations spread that we will have atleast two versions around the globe. The prototypes have been named Monaco and Monza. You may expect the release in September. First BlackBerry Bold, then, BlackBerry Curve and BlackBerry Torch 2 and now BlackBerry Storm 3…Woaah! RIM you gonna rock 2011!!
