Few weeks ago, we have reported you about rumoured LG device ‘Optimus Vu’ which was ready to strike the market. Well, it is now official guys; LG has confirmed ‘Optimus Vu’ yesterday at a private conference. It is surprising why LG did not choose MWC 2012 as the venue which is only 5 days away.
Features were almost similar to the expected ones and to remind you people, this gadget carries a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 1024*768 pixels. The device runs on 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor boarding Android 2.3 Gingerbread version; LG has promised to upgrade it to Ice Cream Sandwich in 3 months.
Photography enthusiasts are going to have a feast with 8 Megapixels camera and we do not know about LED flash for now. Gadget is 8.5 mm thick and has a built-in Stylus; thickness is quite understandable and is easy to carry too.
Vu will be available in South Korea from next month but there is no info about North America and Europe. Cost is not official but is expected to play a crucial role in the likes of ‘Galaxy Note’, ruling the market. The price of the device is expected to be in the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 in Indian currency (Approx $650+) Hoping for a competitive price from the maker, keeping my fingers crossed!
