HTC has finally launched HD2’s younger brother – The HTC HD Mini in India. HTC has always brought innovative and new technology to the consumers via it’s sophisticated, yet simple to use mobile devices. Let’s see what this one has to offer.
The HTC HD Mini has the following things on offer:
- A 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen
- HSDPA and WiFi connectivity plus GPS
- 5-megapixel camera
- 3.5mm headset jack
- 384MB RAM coupled with 512MB ROM
- microSD memory card slot
- A powerful Qualcomm 7227 – 600 MHz which takes care of all the processing power that is needed.

However the device runs Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and we have words that it will not be upgradable to Windows Mobile 7. So we would rather suggest you not to go for this device in case you are looking at a value proposition and wait for the Windows Mobile 7. The impatient ones can definitely give the HTC HD Mini a try.
The price of HTC HD Mini in India is on the higher side – 23,490 INR (about $519) which is super expensive. In case you really love Windows Mobile OS or if any Mobile service Provider bundles the device with some plan then you should definitely go for it.
