If you have envied watching big smartphones and high end models from Samsung, there is no need to now! Samsung has officially entered into the low end market releasing the 2.8 inch Galaxy Pocket with Android 2.3 Gingerbread version.
Coming to the specifications, the screen resolution is not so promising but worth it with 320*240 pixels; remembers it to be a budget phone. It includes 832 MHz CPU and an in-built memory of 3 GB; the memory can be expanded with MicroSD slot available on the device. It has a 2 Megapixels camera on the back end and there is no front-camera.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections are however available and you can have a reasonably good 3G speed. The price of the gadget is not yet available officially from the maker and UK is expected to get this product first sometime later this year.
For the Indian scenario, it would be the best deal if the product’s price is somewhere between Rs. 5000 and Rs. 7000. I bet you will fall crazy for this and we will update you more when the official news is out.
