Motorola Motoluxe Smart Phone: The Light Of Your Life?

Looks like Motorola is on a roll and is launching smartphone devices back to back. After launching the Motorola Defy Mini, the company has launched another Android based Smartphone called the Motoluxe. The Motorola Motoluxe smartphone is just like any other touchscreen phone but with a difference.

The notifications indicator light on this phone is very big (unlike the small dot on other phones) and has been placed at the bottom (whereas other phones have it at the top. Let us take a look at the specs of the Motorola Motoluxe Smartphone:

  • 4-inch, FWVGA (480 x 854 pixel) resolution display
  • 9.8mm thick frame
  • 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA resolution front-facing camera for video calling
  • 800MHz processor
  • 512MB of RAM
  • 1,400mAh battery which provides up to 6.5 hours of talk time or 19 days of standby
  • Colour options: licorice or white

The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and has Motorola’s custom UI called the MotoSwitch which has a very useful feature that brings latest and most used apps and recently viewed or dialed contacts on the homescreen for faster and easy access. The Notification indicator on the phone also doubles up as the hook for passing in a carry rope (lanyard).
