Though Google’s Nexus S is powered by a single core Hummingbird processor, it looks like the one core would be enough to put LG’s dual-core processor powered Optimus to shame. An XDA Forums user morfic has overclocked the processor on Nexus S up to 1.2GHz in a new kernel based on the Bionix NS1 mod.
The 42 inch Nexus S has been made by Google and Best Buy, is the world’s largest working Android phone. Before you think of spending a dime for the device, let me make it clear – “It’s not for sale”.
We still have no idea when Google is releasing the next version of Android – Android 2.3 “Gingerbread” or the successor to the Nexus One – the Nexus S.
