IntoMobile reports that Sony Ericsson plans to stop using Symbian as an OS for their future phones and the handset maker is looking forward to launch a Windows Phone 7 based operating system early 2011. A concept phone design is already floating over the web. Well, we are actually looking forward to the original device!
Sony Ericsson (SE) has 19% revenue share and wants to overtake Motorola and HTC as the #1 Android phone manufacturer. Windows Phone 7 has a different user base altogether and given the dynamic change in today’s mobile users it is very hard to tell if Windows Phone 7 actually surpasses Android in terms of device usage.
