Sony is planning to launch a new phablet soon however this one is targeted towards the budget segment and will bear a low price tag. Also, you might find it unbelievable that the device will have a 6.1 inch screen. Sony is known for launching high-priced smartphones, so a device like this coming from the company is really strange.
Anyways, let us now take a look at the specs of the Sony D2203 (yes that’s the code number of the phablet) which were found with GFXBench. The phablet will have a, like we already said, 6.1 inch touchscreen with a display resolution of 480 by 854 pixels – pixel density of 160ppi.
Now whats shocking is that the device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 Processor which by no means is a processor for low cost smartphones, if not, it is meant for the mid-range devices.
Apart from these, the phablet will have 2GB RAM and 4GB internal storage and a microSD slot for expandable storage of upto 32GB. It will run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. There is also the other regular features like bluetooth, NFC and wi-fi.
