This has come really quick. Apple launched a new update to its recently launched major major iOS upgrade to iOS5. This new version of the update has some really useful improvements for all the iOS devices and for the iPad, this new update brings back the multi-touch gestures which were initially seen in the beta versions of the iOS5 update and were eventually removed from the iOS5 final upgrade.
Here is a quick list of all the major changes that are being covered by Apple in the iOS 5.0.1 update:
1. Fixes all bugs that was resulting in poor battery power for most of the iPhone 4S Siri users
2. Brings back multitasking gestures to iPad
3. This update addresses the various bugs with Documents in the iCloud which were reported by a certain number of users.

How to install the iOS 5.0.1 update on your iPhone and iPad?
In order to install the iOS 5.0.1 software update on your iPhone, iPad or iPod over the air (Via wireless or 3G), just go to Settings > General > Software Update and after some time you will get an update confirmation dialog. Just accept what it says and you are all set! You can also choose to run the update from iTunes.
