If you have been waiting to check out Google’s ChromeOS, then your wait is finally over. Google has announced that the Chrome Notebook (otherwise called the Chromebook) will be available to order from June 15th, 2011 which is almost two weeks from now. As of now Google is offering you two options for the Chromebook – one from Samsung and the other from Acer.
Samsung Chromebook Specs

- Intel Atom Dual-Core Processor

Acer Chromebook Specs
- 11.6″ HD Widescreen Display with CineCrystal LED-backlit LCD
- Weighs 1.45 kg
- 6 hours battery life
- Intel Atom Dual-Core Processor
- Built in dual-band Wi-Fi and World-mode 3G (optional)
- HD Webcam, High-Definition Audio, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 4-in-1 memory card slot, HDMI port
- Fullsize Chrome keyboard and an oversize fully-clickable trackpad

Although, there has been no official communication yet regarding the prices of the Chromebook but we expect it to be in the range of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 28,000 depeding on what additional features you opt for like wifi, 3G etc.
