Bolt 2.1 mobile browser now available

Software developer and the famous font maker Bitstream Inc. today launched their advanced version of mobile browser named Bolt 2.1. The newly upgraded app has various features to offer ranging from Facebook integration to HTML5 support.

According to Anna Magliocco-Chagnon, CEO of Bitstream, mobile browsing is the future. More people will use internet from their phones rather than computers. Bolt 2.1 is launched with features, keeping in mind the need of a daily internet surfer.

The browser comes with a wide variety of Flash support with mtv.com, nick.com, bbc.co.uk (UK), maniatv.com, svtplay.se (Sweden), hungama.com (India) and bollywoodhungama.com (India) added to a list that already included youtube.com, cnn.com, espn.com, video.google.com, and others more.

According to the company, the mobile browser enables users to “post messages, links or URLs from any page displayed in BOLT directly to their Facebook account,” without having them navigate away from the page they were viewing. The Facebook integration also enables the users to use the facebook chat.

Bolt 2.1 is compatible with most of the phones available in the market, with its Java and BREW versions. It is also available for Blackberry and can be configured as default web browser.
