Looks like RIM is really serious of getting back in to the mobile phone market with a bang. In the upcoming BlackBerry World 2012 (RIM’s developer event for BlackBerry and other offerings), RIM might give away some mobile handsets to developers. So, the handsets which will be given away, might look something like this as shown below:
As of now there has been no concrete details out about the phone, but the only substantial information about the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device is that it runs on BlackBerry’s upcoming BB OS 10. Some more specs that have have come to know of the device are:
- 4.2 inch Display screen with 1280 x 768 pixels display resolution
- 720p HD Video playback capability
- Possible PenTile Display
- 1 GB RAM
- 16GB Internal Storage
- Full touchscreen, No Hardware QWERTY keyboard
This is all that we have for now about the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha mobile phone. The specs are really attractive considering it is a RIM phone. So, in case this kind of a mobile phone from RIM goes up for sale, we can expect it to cost anywhere between US $600 to US$ 700 (Approx. Rs. 30,000 to Rs 33,000 in Indian Currency)
