Idea Launches ID 918 Android Smartphone

Idea cellular has launched a new Android based smartphone device called the ID 918. Although this one is probably the device ID number from the company but there is no name yet given to the mobile phone by IDEA. This new handset from Idea, ID 918 is priced at Rs. 5,994/-.

At this price the handset is a good value for money as it has some really good features such as the phone has a 3.2 inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen display, 512MB of AM and 150MB internal storage. Storage can be increased up to 32GB using MicroSD cards. The phone also has a 3.2 Megapixels camera on the back. The phone runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The real value for money deal comes from the fact that, Idea is also bundling goodies worth Rs. 2340 along with the purchase such as free data and Idea TV. Users will get 2GB of free data every month for the next 3 months and will also have access to Idea TV for 3 months.
