Karbonn Launches Its First Android Smartphone “A1″ @ Rs. 6999

Low cost mobile phone seller – Karbonn has jumped on to the Android Bandwagon by launching its first ever smart phone based on the Android operating system. Karbonn A1 is a full touch screen phone and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo. It has a decent 3.2 megapixel camera and weighs just 105 grams. The phone also has dedicated call receive and hang-up buttons unlike other android phones.

The phone is priced at a modest Rs. 6999/-. Few days back, Micromax also unveiled the 2nd edition of their Android mobile phone, the A70 which is priced at Rs. 7999/-.
