Acer has launched it’s Iconia A100 tablet which is powered by Google’s Android Honeycomb. The tablet has 8GB of internal storage and has a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 1024 * 600.

The Acer Iconia A100 has now appeared on Amazon UK for pre-order at a price of 299 pounds (Approx. US $480). At this price the tablet definitely gives some competition to it’s counterparts in the same segment like the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom. We expect the price of this device to be Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 22,000 when it becomes available or goes for pre-order in India.
