Acer just came up with three new Aspire laptops boasting AMD fusion APU (Accelerated Processing Unit) – Aspire 5253, Aspire 4253 and Aspire one 522 notebooks. The Intel vs. AMD battle has been a favorite topic in discussion forums on the net. And, Acer has now launched an AMD notebook with impressive graphic capabilities for HD entertainment.
The new AMD E- series APU with the Vision Engine is at the heart of these notebooks. Slutter-free HD movies, HD Internet video streaming, advanced multitasking and extended battery life are some special features of these notebooks. And multitasking is automatically ensured with the DDR3 SDRAM (upto 8 GB for Aspire 5253).
Particularly the 10.1 inch –Aspire One 522 will a C-50 APU with AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics. It will come in green or black and will have a 16:9 aspect ratio with a WXGA resolution. Wi-Fi, LAN and Bluetooth or 3G are other features of the notebook. And these laptops have a practical textured finish for protection from scratches and fingerprints! But, no word on pricing and availability has been made till now.
