Are you an electronic freak? Do you wanna witness totally awesome new electronic technologies and elec. stuff? Then rush and book your ticket for the world’s largest consumer electronic trade show: CES 2011. This annual conference is gonna kick off in Las Vegas on the 4th Jan and will last until 9th of Jan.
CES 2011 will feature over 2500 exhibitors and we will witness latest hardware, applications and services from these technological companies. Interestingly the global economy has recovered from recession and so amplified competition can be expected. But, the highlight of the show has to be certainly be marked by these: AMD, Microsoft, Intel, Motorola and Sony.
AMD has scraped the Innovations 2011 Design and Engineering awards in the computer hardware category. And a demonstration on fusion products will be carried out by it in CES 2011.
Microsoft also looks set to release an ARM platform version of Windows 7. The tablet Windows 7 OS can cause a splinter between Intel and Microsoft! Among other things, Microsoft also plans to unveil Slate and show off Windows 8 at CES 2011.
Intel as always will have a huge presence in the CES: We will see it launching Sandy Bridge possessing improved onboard graphics module. The SB is a follow up of the Core series Circa 2011. We may also notice Intel with regard to its storage and wireless technologies.
Motorola has already been in news after news came of it splitting into two next year. Leave apart that it’s expected that they come up with Olympus/Etna- the company’s first dual core smartphone! It will be based on Nvidia’s Tegra 2 Soc. And for sure we will see a Moto tablet Xoom/Everest based on Honeycomb [see leaked pictures] which is set for release!
Sony is going to rock the CES with the Sony Ericssion Playstation phone. This smartphone may position Android as the main gaming platform for mobile phones!
This was just the critic’s prospect for the grand event. God knows what else is gonna boom the globe at CES, 2011! The international CES has been a landmark for four decades now! It has been an excellent podium for CE innovators to grow and thrive.
