Micromax has already registered a lot of “firsts” to it’s name. Earlier, we told you about Micromax launching the first mobile phone in India to have a Rupee symbol key. Now Micromax has launched world’s lightest 3.5G touch phone “Modu – T” in association with Israel based Modu Telecom, in India.
Modu T was awarded a Guinness World Record for being the lightest a 3.5G touch mobile phone in the world and is powered by Qualcomm’s Brew operating system. The phone has a 2.2” touch screen and memory card slot for external memory card (expandable up to 32GB). Modu T has built-in applications which include web access, Instant Messaging, YouTube, Google Search, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, TuneWiki, eBuddy & Snaptu. The phone also has a built in FM radio, GPS and a music player.
The Modu-T is a modular phone which pitches the concept of “fy” devices. The Modu T “fy” family of devices enhances and completes the user experience and makes the device modular to the core. Currently Micromax has launched 2 Modu-T fy devices – the camerafy where you simply slide your Modu T phone into the compact and intuitive 5MP camerafy and start capturing and sharing your photos, and the sportfy that instantly turns it into your exercise companion.
