Indian Telecom Major has launched two entry-level smartphones with dual-SIM support and both of them priced below Rs. 4500 (Approx. 75$ American). This comes as a part of BSNL’s association with Smartphone maker Champion.
Both the phones have a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a display resolution of 320 x 480 pixels and are powered by a dual-core processor.

BSNL Champion SM3513 Specs & Features
- 3G Support along with EDGE
- Priced at Rs 4,499 (US $73 Approx)
- The device has 512MB of RAM along with an expandable MicroSD card slot – upto 32GB supported.
- Two cameras – 3-megapixel primary camera and 1.3-megapixel front for video calls
- Runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system
BSNL Champion SM3512 Specs & Features
- EDGE support only, no 3G
- Priced at Rs. 3,225 (Approx $52)
- Has 512MB of RAM and a microSD card slot that lets you expand your phone’s memory to up to 32GB.
- 3-megapixel primary camera and 1.3-megapixel front camera
- Runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system
Other Other features common to both the phones:
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity
- FM Radio with recording
- Powered by a 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery that provides close to 6 hours of talk time
BSNL also has launched a special plan under which users buying these phones will get 500MB free data and 50 Minutes of same-network calls per month for 6 months. This is not the first time BSNL has launched cheap devices, we earlier told you about BSNL’s cheap tablet BSNL t-Pad 701.
