Expanding its smartphone domain in India, Samsung Electronics launched Galaxy Note on Wednesday at a price tag of Rs 34,990. With a 5.3 inch touch-screen, the phone bridges the gap between tablet and a high end phone. The 5.3 inch screen has WXGA 1280 x 800p HD Super AMOLED display and claims to be the first of its kind.

We just got our hands on to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V smartphone at the launch event organised by Sony Ericsson today in Mumbai (India). The phone has some really impressive features such as a good front facing camera for video chatting, Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA engine (Yes, the same Bravia engine that powers Sony televisions) and comes with a free HDMI cable to connect the phone to your TV!

Among other specs, the phone has a 1GHz Scorpion Processor, 512MB RAM and 3d Panorama camera capability. Storage wise the phone comes with a built-in memory of 320MB which can be increased up to 32GB via microSD cards. The phone is powered by a Li-Po 1500 mAh battery which promises talk times of up to 6 hours on 3G.
