Sony Ericsson’s (SE) upcoming mobile phone Txt Pro is now a reality as it was recently spotted at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). As the name suggests the TxT Pro is a mobile phone which lays focus on text messaging features rather than Multimedia features, which happens to be Sony Ericsson’s forte.
However, the SE Txt Pro does not have 3G capabilities which might be a disappointment for some, but as the phone is built for text messaging purposes so presence of 3G will make no sense. Absence of 3G will definitely have some advantage in terms of the pricing of the Phone. The device has WiFi although.

As it is a messaging phone, it has a highly ergonomic 4 – row slide out QWERTY keyboard with a sweet spacing between the keys on the phone’s keypad. SE has taken all care to make sure the phone lives up to it’s name.
We expect the price of the phone to be somewhere in the range of US $350 – $400. (Rs. 17,000 to Rs. 20,000 Indian). Please keep watching this post for updates. We will let you know about the official price once SE launches the phone.
