WD Caviar 3 TB SATA Hard Drives – India Availability & Pricing
We have already told about the 3TB – USB 3.0 powered Hard Disk Drives from Western Digital (WD). WD today announced that the company is shipping the world’s largest capacity SATA hard drive. The new Hard Drives are an addition to its WD Caviar family of SATA hard drives and store upto a massive 3 terabytes (TB) of data on a single drive!
After Seagate and Hitachi , Western Digital has also joined the elite league of 3TB drives. Although Seagate was the first to launch, but it had some issues. The drive gets extremely heated with continuous usage. Now we have an alternative in the form of WD.
Seagate, one of the world’s largest hard drive makers, confirmed on Monday that they will be launching a 3TB hard drive later this year.
