Nokia Launches Its First Windows Phone 7 Device – Lumia 800
“After a long time, Nokia has finally launched a mobile phone which I am definitely looking forward to.” – Well, this is the exact translation of the thought that crossed my mind after looking at the Nokia Lumia 800 smartphone for the first time on the web. Some four months back, we had told you about the Nokia “Sea Ray” which was supposed to be Nokia’s first Windows Phone 7 (WP7) device. Well, it was indeed the Lumis 800!
Nokia Lumia 800
The Nokia Lumis 800 is a real beauty having a 3.7 inch AMOLED – curved glass display and resembles a lot with the Nokia N9 which is powered by Meego. The phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor and a 8 mega pixels camera with Carl Zeiss optics. Nokia has set a price of 420 euros (Rs. 29,000/- in Indian currency) without taxes for the phone.
The Nokia Lumia 800 will be available from November in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK. It will be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by mid December.
