Love Motorola and looking for a QWERTY smartphone from the company? Well, you might not have to wait for long. Motorola’s new phone Admiral was recently  spotted in the wild. The phone has a large 3.1 VGA touch-screen and a QWERTY keyboard below the screen.

However, there is a slight problem with the design of the Admiral – it is heavy at the top and is thin and light at the bottom. So, you might find it a bit uncomfortable to hold the phone at times. Remember Nokia N8?

Now let us take you through some of the initial specs and features of the Motorola Admiral mobile phone:

  • 1.2GHz single-core Qualcomm MSM8655 processor
  • Runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread & Motorola’s proprietary UI (MotoBlur)
  • 3.1-inch VGA display (touch screen)
  • 5MP rear camera with 720p HD video recording
  • Military-certified
  • 1,860mAh battery

Talking about the price of the Motorola Admiral we expect it to be somewhere around $450 to $500 (approx. Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 24,000/- in Indian Currency). For the ones who are not aware of this, Motorola Admiral is also called the Motorola XT603.
