When Android 3.0 Honeycomb surfaced for the first time, this OS from Google was specifically meant for Tablets. Motorola Xoom happens to be the first tablet to use Android Honeycomb. Nook Color e-reader is also another tablet which is capable of running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. However, it was later discovered that Android Honeycomb can run on Smart phones too!
Well, HTC Pyramid is now the first ever Smart phone to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Although the device has not been launched yet officially but it has close resemblance with the looks of HTC Thunderbolt and HTC Inspire. Here are a few specs of the device:
- 1.2GHz processor
- 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and a single LED flash on the back
- 1.3-megapixels camera on the front for Video chatting.
- 4.3-inch Super-LCD touchscreen display with 960 x 540 pixel resolution.
These are just the initial specs which we could gather from the web. Watch out for our detailed HTC Pyramid specs post once more details about the device surface on the web. Although we could not find any mention about the price of the device, but we expect it to be around US $600 (without carrier) which converts to Rs. 27,000 Indian.
