ASUS EeePad Transformer 2 With Ice Cream Sandwitch Coming Soon
Remember the Asus EeePad Transformer? Yes, it is the same portable computer device that transforms your Eee Pad tablet into a mini laptop just by adding a keyboard dock attachment. Well, if you have liked this device then the next version of the Transformer – the Transformer 2 is coming soon in December and is definitely worth taking a look at.

Asus EeePad Transformer 2 Tablet
Jerry Shen – the CEO of ASUS has confirmed that the EeePad Transformer 2 will be coming in December and will have some updated specs and features. For example it is being said that the Transformer 2 has a Quad-Core processor. The 10 inch screen on the Transformer 2 will be retained as it is in the first version.
Transformer 2 sports a price tag of $499 (approx. Rs. 24,000 in Indian currency but might sell for Rs. 29,000+ in India ) which is a whole $300 more than the recently launched Amazon Kindle Fire tablet. So, our simple question to Asus is why will any consumer pay $300 more just some more screen area and a keyboard dock?

There is a lot more graphics and CPU power, more memory for future OS upgrades, GPS, Bluetooth and a few other feature that could make up that difference in price. Kindle software also works very well on Androids.
